Greetings from Rachael
Being that there are so many miles between The Christianson's and most all their family and friends, I decided to host a virtual baby shower for them! My husband, Justin, and two little girls, Kinsley and Gracelyn, and I are just over the moon about the newest cousin arriving just one day after Kinsley's birthday! Even more exciting, it's a girl!! So now Justin and I have a nephew and we're getting a niece!!!
From the moment Raine told me about her positive pregnancy test, I began gleaming with excitement knowing that I would finally get a chance to throw my sister a baby shower, since she was (at the time) living close! Unfortunately for me, (but fortunately for them, because they are SO happy in Georgia) Brian got transferred by the Army to Fort Stewart, Georgia. So the next best thing I thought to do for my sweet sister and brother-in-law was to throw a "virtual" baby shower!
I thought I was being inventive thinking up this neat idea for a virtual baby shower, but it turns out this is actually becoming quite popular, especially amongst military families. I may not get an award for being creative this time, but hey, at least all of us can still be involved in the excitement of baby Ella from afar! I hope to post a few videos of The Christianson's as well as pictures of Raine's ever growing belly!
